The took the decision after it was informed by Senator MELAYE that the police claims his accusers had escaped in a jail break yesterday.
The embattled APC Senator.who has been having a running battle with Kogi State Governor YAYAHA BELLO and the Nigeria Police High Command, threatened to sue the Inspector General of Police, IBRAHIM IDRIS.
Before their escape earlier today, the suspects had been paraded by the Force spokesman, JIMOH MOSHOOD on 19th of March.
They were accused of illegal possession of firearms allegedly supplied by Senator DINO MELAYE.
The names of the fleeing suspects were given as KABIRU SEIDU, also known as OSAMA; and NUHU SALISU also known as SMALL.
