Our correspondent UCHENDU EJIOWHOR reports that the move was made known by Major General ROGERS NICOLAS, who is leading a special team from the Army Headquarters for the assignment.Speaking after a closed-door meeting with the police and other stakeholders in the Ogoni axis of Rivers State, Major General NICOLAS said the investigation became necessary to establish the extent of involvement of the military in the killings in Yehge and Bori communities.The Army Officer assured the perpetrators of the crime would surely be identified and made to face justice.Major General NICOLAS ROGERS and members of his team we sent from the headquarters of the Nigerian Army in Abuja.
