The new Commissioner of Police in Rivers State, HYELASINDA MUSA KIMO has appealed for public collaboration in the fight against crime in the state. C.P. KIMO made the appeal during his first media briefing at the headquarters of the Rivers State Police Command in Port Harcourt. C.P. KIMO particularly made a case for the strengthening of community policing as a formidable frontier against criminal elements in all parts of the state. The new Police Commissioner equally stressed the need for massive deployment of policemen to black spots and strategic locations to check the activities of cultist and curtail violent crimes.
