The National Peace Committee for the 2015 General elections can no longer hide its impatience with the slow pace of the All Progressives Congress administration at the federal level. A member of the committee and Bishop of the Sokoto Archdiocese of the Roman Catholic, Reverend Father MATTHEW KUKAH gave this indication while responding to questions on a live television interview monitored in Port Harcourt. Reverend KUKAH said it was not the expectation of many Nigerians, particularly members of his committee that President MUHAMMADU BUHARI would wait until September to appoint ministers. Reverend Father KUKAH also said the move by the APC Administration to probe the immediate past administration should not be a substitute for governance.

He however insisted that the recent visit to President MUHAMMADU BUHARI by members of the committee was not influenced by any individual. The clergyman said his committee was not against investigating any individual who may have soiled his hands in corruption, but warned that it could also happen to anyone. Reverend Father MATTHEW KUKAH is a member of the National Peace Committee for the 2015 General elections.
