The National Orientation Agency has advised residents of Rivers State to be cautious about their consumption of poultry product following the outbreak of bird flu in the state. Rivers State Director of the agency, OLIVER WOLUGBOM who made the call in an interview with newsmen in Port Harcourt, said the consumption of poultry should be minimized until the outbreak is contained. WOLUGBOM appealed to owners of poultry farm to make efforts to treat their birds to avoid spreading the disease to other farms.
