The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association in Rivers State has been accused of frustrating efforts by the Federal Government to enforce regulated pump price of petrol at Eighty-Seven Naira per litre.
Some motorists, business owners and residents in Port Harcourt said the independent marketers have now resorted to hoarding of petroleum products to avoid on-going clampdown by officials of the Department of Petroleum Resources.
Our correspondent LEVI ISU monitored the fuel distribution situation around Rumuolumeni, Ada George and Mile Four areas of Port Harcourt reports that many filling stations are not selling.
