The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has promised to conclude all pending elections in the country as soon as possible.National Chairman of INEC, Professor MAHMUD YAKUBU said this while speaking with newsmen in Abuja.Professor YAKUBU said INEC is constrained by different challenges including insecurity, mobilization of personnel among others.He said dates for elections in Rivers, Imo, Kogi, Anambra and Plateau states will soon be announced.The INEC boss also disclosed that moves are being made to amend the Electoral Act in view of the challenges it suffered during the different elections petitions tribunals.He said the Commission is poised to support Laws that will strengthen electronic voting for future elections.
