The State Commander of the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad and the Lokoja Divisional Police Officer have also been transferred out of the state and are facing serious disciplinary action.
IGP IDRIS has also directed the deployment of the Commissioner of Police in charge of Federal Operations at the Force Headquarters, ESA SUNDAY OGBU to immediately relocated to the Kogi State Command.
The directives were announced in a statement released by Force Public Relations Officer, JIMOH MOSHOOD, in aftermath of the development in Kogi State.
MOSHOOD said the IGP was dissatisfied with the circumstances surrounding the escape of the six suspects, including KABIRU SEIDU, also known as OSAMA, and NUHU SALISU, also known as SMALL.
The Force spokesman said all the police officers implicated in the escape of the suspects, including thirteen in detention, are to be investigated for negligence, dereliction of duty and gross misconduct.
