The governorship candidate of the Labour Party in Rivers State, Price TONYE PRINCEWILL has faulted the decision by Governor NYESOM WIKE to challenge the judgment nullifying his election at the Supreme Court. You will recall that PRINCEWILL had also opposed the decision of Governor WIKE to appeal the initial judgment delivered by the Governorship Election Tribunal. The Labour Party governorship candidate has now said going to the Supreme Court amounts to delaying the inevitable. In a statement in reaction to the judgment of the Court of Appeal in Abuja, PRINCEWILL said anyone who is truly confident of his popularity should not be afraid to face the electorate. He maintained that in spite the PDP’s boast of popularity and the arrogance of politicians, it remains obvious that what happened in Rivers State during the general election was neither free, nor fair nor credible.
