The only confirmed APC member elected into the State House of Assembly, VICTORIA NYECHE is making an issue out of the confirmation of Justice LAMINKARA by the Assembly.NYECHE said it was a shameful act for only nine PDP members to have sat to consider the request for the confirmation of the judge, without forming a quorum.The APC state legislator also said she was not notified that the House of Assembly would be holding a session to consider the confirmation of the appointment of the Judge by Governor NYESOM WIKE.VICTORIA NYECHE called on Rivers people not to reorganize Justice LAMINKARA as the State Chief Judge.VICTORIA NYECHE is currently the only validly elected APC member in the Rivers State House of Assembly, although she is yet to be inaugurated.
