The call for the resignation of the senate President BUKOLA SARAKI has intensified, following the decision of the Code of Conduct Tribunal to commence his trial on the 10th of next month.A Labour Party Chieftain in Rivers State ISAAC WONWU said in a developed democracy, SARAKI ought to have stepped down from his position and concentrate on defending himself at the CCT.Speaking in an interview with correspondent CHINEDU IWUNNA, WONWU said the integrity of the upper chambers of the National Assembly is at stake if SARAKI remains as the senate President.The Labour Party candidate for Ikwere/Emohua Federal constituency also joined his Party in calling for the redeployment of the all INEC staff from Rivers State.
