The APC in Rivers State has thanked President MUHAMMADU BUHARI for appointing one of its chieftains and former Commissioner of Information, IBIM SEMENITARI, as acting Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC.The Rivers APC said in a statement released by its spokesman, CHRIS FINEBONE that it believes the appointment of SEMINITARI further demonstrates President BUHARI’s readiness to recognise qualified, tested and worthy sons and daughters of the South-South and assign them to positions of responsibility in his government.FINEBONE said the APC has no doubt that IBIM SEMENITARI will exceed the expectations of her new assignment because of her zeal, capability and capacity to deliver whenever she is called to serve.The party spokesman said the optimism on the new Acting Managing Director of NDDC is based on her verifiable track record of achievements in the past, especially while serving as the Commissioner for Information and Communications under former Governor of Rivers State, CHIBUIKE ROTIMI AMAECHI.He equally underscored SEMINITARI’s contributions as a member of the Communications Directorate of the Buhari Presidential Campaign Organisation.
