The APC candidate for Okrika-Ogu Bolo Federal Constituency, MAUREEN ITAMUNOLA, has dismissed criticism against her candidacy by the Special Adviser to the Rivers State Governor on Inter Party Matters, CHRIS ITAMUNOLA.TAMUNO, who once served as Chairman of Ogu-Bolo and member of the House of Assembly, said her aspiration for any political office is borne-out of love and the need to serve her Wakirike people.Responding to the criticism in an interview with our correspondent, MATTHEW OSIKA, who is the spokesman for MAUREEN TAMUNO, said CHRIS ITAMUNOLA was acting out a script written by leaders of the PDP in his comment. OSIKA also faulted the allegation by ITAMUNOLA that projects executed by MAUREEN TAMUNO, both as a state lawmaker and council Chairman, are not worth the value of funds spent.He challenged the Special Adviser to the Governor to petition anti-graft agencies if he has credible evidence against the APC House of Representatives candidate.
