The Acting Chief Judge of Rivers State, Justice DAISY OKOCHA has advised Judges, Magistrates and lawyers to apply the best practices in the adjudication of justice in the state.Justice OKOCHA stressed the need for legal practitioners to maintain the highest level of discipline in the profession.
The Acting Chief Judge was represented by Justice LAMINKANRA IYAYI at a two-day seminar on legal development organized by the Port Harcourt Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association.On his part, the spokesman of the Nigerian Bar Association, ANGUS CHUKWUKA said the seminar was meant to prepare lawyers on proper  handling cases in the higher courts.Correspondent VICTOR EZEAMA reports that the seminar adopted the theme “Enhancing Appellate Practice: Challenges and Pitfalls.
