The 2015 election for Gokana State Constituency in Rivers State has been cancelled. This is the latest development coming from the Federal Capital Territory in Abuja, where the election tribunals for Rivers State have been sitting. Our correspondent JAMES IGAH reports that the State and National Assembly Election Tribunal has also nullified the election for Tai State Constituency in Rivers State. The judgment on Tai State Constituency was based on a petition brought by MATTHEW DIKE of the All Progressives Congress, challenging the victory of his rival of the Peoples Democratic Party.
