Our correspondent gathered that at least, eight people were killed in a fresh clash by suspected cultists terrorizing the area.
A source from the community who confirmed the incident to our correspondent said trouble started when a particular cult gang gathered to share an undisclosed amount of money given to them by a man who is to resume drenching company in the area.
In the course of sharing the said sum, a fight ensued on who should take the highest amount.
In the meantime, Security operatives have been deployed to the community to restore calm but Rivers State Police Command is yet to confirm the killing.
