Tekena Iyagba, emerged as the consensus governorship candidate of the party.
Speaking to newsmen after the primaries, Iyagba who was a former governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress said the APC and the PDP are controlled by a few individuals which will not serve the interest of the state.
Iyagba also said the 2023 general elections will be decided by the people of the state and not the majority parties.
Other Candidates who won the tickets of the party to run for the state Assembly are; Kingsley Dimkpa and Giadom Roy.
