Coordinator of the RIVSCO, ENEFA GEORGEWILL while speaking with newsmen in Port Harcourt said the decision of the state government is hasty.
GEORGEWILL expressed fears that the terms of reference of the Task force which is being headed by the former Caretaker Committee Chairman of Obio Akpor Local Government Area, BRIGHT AMAEWHULE may be hijacked by hoodlums.
The Rivers State Civil Society Organizations added that the operations of the Task force is capable of causing more security challenges if not properly managed, just as they urged the state government to work towards reviving moribund companies in the state.
In a bid to return Rivers state to its Garden City City status, Governor NYESOM WIKE had last week announced the establishment of the Rivers State Task Force headed by BRIGHT AMAEWHULE to commence operations from tomorrow.
