Our correspondent who visited some parts of Port Harcourt to monitor compliance reports that taxi drivers were seen inside the motor parks as against the roadside where they usually park to load their vehicle.
In some other areas like the Rumuigbo junction which has no designated space for parking, drivers were seen in queues waiting for their turn to load thier vehicle.
Our correspondent also reports that development has now eased the flow of traffic particularly in Rumuokoro junction which before now was always greeted by traffic jam.
However; in other parts of Port Harcourt members of the task force had a hard time implementing the ban as roadside traders attempted to resist them.
The team sent to Azikiwe-road axis of the Port Harcourt, Mile one-Education through Ikoku junction in Ikwerre road were seen impounding some good and vehicles of defaulters who made frantic efforts to resist them.
The task force were accompanied by police personnel with over thirty trucks distributed to the various teams.
