Similarly; the Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, IKUINYI IBANI, assured that the legislature would work with the National Orientation Agency to mobilise Rivers people to participate in the voters registration exercise.
The Speaker gave the assurance when the Rivers State Director of the National Orientation Agency, OLIVER WOLUGBOM led senior officials of the agency on a solidarity visit to the House of Assembly.
He also challenged the National Orientation Agency to step up public awareness to discourage apathy to the election process.
The Speaker gave the charge after NOA Director called for partnership with the State House of Assembly to educate Rivers people on the registration of voters.
WOLOGBOM also appealed to the State Assembly to prevail on Governor NYESOM WIKE to return the National Orientation Agency to their office after renovation.
