The Rivers State Government says it is working tirelessly to eradicate female genital mutilation (FGM) and all forms of violence against women. Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation, Justina Jumbo, made this known at the close of a two-day awareness workshop organised in partnership with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
