A Peoples Democratic Party presidential aspirant, Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim, has warned that any attempt by the ruling All Progressives Congress to turn Nigeria into a one-party state will fail. In a statement issued in Lagos, Olawepo-Hashim accused the APC of using defections and political pressure to weaken opposition parties ahead of the 2027 elections. He said
