Some herdsmen in the community had last week alleged that indigenes of Obelle community killed over twenty of their cows and allegedly threatened to deal with the people.
The threat was said to have been reported to the Emohua local council authorities which also intervened.
But some persons are now alleging that Emeka Wobido who was found lifeless in a farm land within a boundary between Obelle and Elelecommunity was stabbed to death by the suspected herdsmen in a reprisal attack over the alleged killing of their cows.
The youth President of Obelle community, Richard Amadi and Chairman of Okada Riders association in the area who confirmed the incident expressed displeasure over the killing even while the council authorities were trying to resolve the crisis.
They called on the government and security agencies to urgently intervene into the matter.
Today FM reports that police officers attached to the Rumuji police station have taken away the corpse.
