Supervisor of Universal Basic Education in Etche calls attention of Rivers State Government to poor condition of schools.

Inadequate number of teachers and poor learning environment have also been identified among several challenges facing public primary and secondary schools in Etche.
Due to the situation, the Supervisor of Universal Basic Education in Etche, IHEANYICHUKWU AZUTA wants the state government to consider an improvement of the manpower for public schools as part of measures to improve the learning environment for pupils.
AZUTA also called for action to check the spate of vandalism of school facilities in Etche, including the deployment of a security outfit to be stationed around schools in the area.
