Nigeria’s Super Falcons will open their training camp in Morocco on July 15 as preparations intensify for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
Head coach Justine Madugu is expected to invite a strong squad for the tournament, with players scheduled to arrive in camp ahead of the team’s final preparations for the continental championship.
The defending champions have been drawn in Group C alongside Zambia, Egypt and Malawi, and will be aiming to retain their African title while also securing qualification for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
The 2026 WAFCON will be held in Morocco from July 25 to August 16, with Nigeria beginning its campaign later this month.
