Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle, has unveiled a provisional list of 54 players ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations scheduled to take place in Morocco.
The squad features established regulars such as Victor Osimhen, Alex Iwobi, Wilfred Ndidi, and others who have been key to Nigeria’s recent campaigns. However, Chelle has also handed opportunities to over twenty new players, as the national team opens camp in Egypt to begin preparations.
There is also room for Ola Aina, Ebenezer Akinsanmiro, Rafiu Durosinmi, and Victor Boniface, who are expected to bolster competition for starting spots.
As part of their build-up to the tournament, the Super Eagles are scheduled to face the Pharaohs of Egypt in an international friendly before the AFCON kicks off.
