The Sultan expressed his displeasure while addressing Muslim faithful on his arrival in the Rivers State capital, Port Harcourt.
Alhaji SA’AD ABUBAKAR called on Nigerians to disregard negative reports which he said are capable of causing disaffection in the country.
He said Nigeria was going through difficult times that requires everyone to support the federal government.
Alhaji MOHAMMAD SA’AD ABUBAKAR also called for unity and peaceful coexistence among Nigerians; stressing that Islam as a religion dislikes extremism adding that those involved in suicide are acting against the principles of the Qur’an.
On his part, Special Adviser to Governor NYESOM WIKE on Niger-Delta Development Commission, ARIBITOYE OKIRIR said the Rivers state government has created an enabling environment for all religion to thrive.
