Phee in a tweet said they discussed ways forward to restore Sudan’s democratic transition
Molly Phee who also met the coup leader Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, said the process of releasing those held since the takeover had begun.
Meanwhile, Sudanese protests against the coup have continued.
On Tuesday, journalists, some of whose colleagues have been detained, held their own demonstration against the military government.
