Students, Parents Urge Rivers Government to Improve School Facilities, Support Tuition

As public and private schools resume across Rivers State, students have appealed to the state government to make classrooms more conducive for learning.

Some students who spoke with our reporter, Favour Zimoni, said learning was difficult during the last term due to poor facilities, including inadequate desks and chairs. They called for urgent intervention by the Rivers State Government to improve the learning environment.

Meanwhile, parents have also appealed to the state government for assistance with the payment of tuition. They further requested support in the provision of learning and teaching materials to ease the burden on families and enhance the quality of education in the state.
