This followed the deaths of thirteen people in quick succession within one week at Bindim village in the north-western state.
Before dying, the victims had shown symptoms of vomiting, joint pain, as well as bleeding from the eyes and convulsions.
A team of medical experts has been sent to the affected village to determine the causes of a mysterious disease.
It was around the same area that more than four hundred people died from lead poisoning in 2010.
