Director General, SON, Farouk Salim, made the call in a one day sensitization programme on S.O.N activities and mandate held in Port Harcourt.
Speaking with newsmen at the sideline of the event, Farouk, said the circulation of substandard products has reduced the patronage of quality products in the market, creating unemployment in the country and a window for criminal activities.
Farouk also stated that winning the fight against the patronage of substandard goods is a community issue that requires the contribution of everyone.
Today FM’s Ifunanya Obeme-Ndukwe, reports that the Nigeria Custom, NAFDAC, Stakeholders in the Petroleum Down Stream Sector, including manufactures were present at the sensitization programme.
