A leading environmental activist, CELESTINE AKPOBARI, described the programme as an opportunity for some politicians to recover arms that were distributed to thugs before the 2015 general elections.
AKPOBARI told our correspondent VICTOR EZEAMA that although peace was gradually returning to Ogoni since the arms mop-up commenced, politicians must be held responsible for increase in crime in the area.
CELESTINE AKPOBARI urged the Rivers State Government to go beyond just mopping up of arms from the youths to ensuring that everyone is brought onboard on a plan to develop youths in Ogoni.
