Stakeholders in Kula Community in Akuku-Toru Local Government Area of Rivers state have opposed the inauguration of executive members of Kula Regional Development Committee by the Rivers State Commissioner for Chieftaincy Affairs.Addressing newsmen after the Kula stakeholders meeting in Port Harcourt, the Chairman of compound leaders in the community, WHO-KNOWS NELSON said the action by the Commissioner for Chieftaincy Affairs was not in the interest of the entire community.NELSON criticized the source of the list in which the commissioner used to perform the exercise, alleging that one HOPE OPUSINGE who submitted the list is not recognized as a chief and cannot represent the interest of Kula community.Also speaking in an interview with correspondent UCHENDU EJIOWHOR, Chief TAMUNOSAKI ATIREYE-BALE called on Governor NYESOM WIKE to reverse the inauguration to avoid the collapse of the People’s Democratic Party in the area.TAMUNOSAKI ATIREYE-BALE is a stakeholder in Kula Community in Akuku Toru Local Government Area of Rivers State.
