Southampton have booked their place in the Sky Bet Championship play-off final after a 2–1 victory over Middlesbrough at St Mary’s Stadium. The club will face Hull City in the final scheduled for May 23 at Wembley Stadium.
Hull reached the final after defeating Millwall 2–0. It will be Southampton’s second play-off final appearance in three seasons.
