Bayern Munich winger Jamal Musiala has revealed that he is suffering from “treatable absence seizures” after collapsing on the pitch for the second time in four days.
The 23-year-old fell to the ground just eight minutes after coming on as a substitute during Bayern Munich’s friendly against FC Heidenheim on Tuesday night. The incident came days after he had also collapsed during a pre-season friendly against RB Leipzig.
Musiala said he is receiving treatment for the condition and expressed confidence about his recovery. The Bayern star’s latest disclosure is expected to provide clarity following concerns over his health after the two incidents on the pitch.
