Today FM’s Uchendu Ejiowhor who was at the scene of the protest, reports that the protesters were not allowed by security agencies to block the main entrance of the NDDC headquarter in Port Harcourt.

National President of South Youth Initiative, IMEABE SAVIOUR-OSCAR who spoke to newsmen said they are aggrieved that the report of the forensic audit is yet to be made public while the Substantive Board for the NDDC is yet to be constituted as promised by the Minister for Niger Delta affairs.

 

Saviour-Oscar also threatened that they would continue with the protest untill the Minister addresses them.

Today FM reports that security was beefed up within and around the premises of the NDDC headquarters office along Eastern By-Pass axis of Port Harcourt City Local Government Area of Rivers State to forestall breakdown of law and order.
