Some young people drawn across Ogba-Egbema-Ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers State have marched to the council headquarters in Omoku to demand for fair treatment by the political leadership and the traditional institution.

The leader of the group, OTONA GODGIFT NNAMDI complained that the ONELGA youth are being marginalized.OTONA equally called on the authorities of the ONELGA council to find a way to tackle the issue of hunger in the land due to the paralysis of business as a result of violent crimes in the area.He particularly requested for government assistance for the restoration of those who lost their means of livelihood due to the crisis.In his response; the Caretaker Chairman of ONELGA, ISAAC UMEJURU criticized the youth for failing to reveal the identities of those responsible for the wave of violent crimes in the area, including murder, kidnapping and cultism.
