Some aggrieved youth in the Niger Delta region are calling for a leadership change in the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC.

The group is complaining that youth welfare in the Niger Delta had been neglected since IBIM SEMINITARI assumed responsibility as Acting Managing Director of NDDC.According to a statement signed by PRINCE AMATARI-BIPELEDEI, the Aggrieved Niger Delta Youth group wants President MUHAMMANDU BUHARI to appoint a substantive MD for the NDDC.It said whoever would be appointed next to head the NDDC must be a person that will place priority attention to youth welfare and development.The group said once that happens, the problem insecurity and other social vices in the Niger Delta region would be reduced.
