Somalia’s Aviation Minister ALI AHMED JANGALI announced a temporary suspension on Monday but was not specific about the reasons behind it.
Khat which is not grown in Somali is imported from neighbors Ethiopia and Kenya and hugely popular in Somalia where it is chewed for hours and serves as a stimulant.
