An army source in Cameroon said the soldiers demanded two years’ worth of salaries and expenses that they were owed.
The source said soldiers returned to barracks later after discussions took place with army generals, said the army source.
Soldiers in northern Cameroon operate in one of the region’s most dangerous areas.
