Soldiers kills 14 mistaken for Boko haram terrorist.

Officials said the incident happened in the remote southeastern Diffa region, bordering Nigeria, from where the Boko Haram operates.

 

Reports said the victims were unarmed farmers, who were in a restricted zone around the village of Abadam.

 

Diffa’s Secretary General, YAHAYA GODI, said Abadam is a village located in the red zone and has been prohibited for civilians for a very long time.

 

The incident happened three days after suspected militants killed nine people and kidnapped dozens others, including children.
