Commissioner of Police, Nwonyi Emeka while parading some suspects at the Command’s headquarters at Moscow Road, said on the 10th of September, 2023, the police acting on actionable intelligence invaded the hide out of David OkparA popularly called 2BABA and his gang in Odeimude, community Ahoada East local government.
Cp Emeka noted that the Ahoada Area Command and other tactical units mobilized and stormed the forest where the hoodlums hide, and on sighting the police engaged operatives in fierce gun battle leading to the murder of four of the cultists while some sustained bullet injuries and three were arrested in the process.
CP Emeka also narrated how CP strike force arrested other suspected criminals in other locations in the state.
