Speaking in an interview on Thursday, the minister said the passage of the bill was possible because of the constant engagement between the executive and the legislative arms of government.
The minister also made some clarifications on the two point five percent payment to host communities as provided for in the bill.
On the plan by the federal government to increase the price of petrol, Sylva said consultations are already ongoing to ensure that Nigerians do not feel the pain.
