Sierra Leone former chief of defense staff assassinated in Freetown.

Family and police sources have confirmed the shooting dead of Lieutenant-General WILLIAMS on Wednesday night.

The attack at his home in the outskirts of the capital, Freetown but the motive and circumstances behind the killing are unclear.
