Showdown as 24hrs ultimatum for Roadside traders in port harcourt set to expire.

The clearance would also affect all abandoned vehicles, caravans and ring culverts that deface or littering public roads.

 

The Rivers State Waste Management Agency has announced that its officials would be embarking on a clampdown on traders on road medians beginning from today.

 

The Sole Administrator of the agency, FELIX OBUAH, was quoted in a statement by his media assistant saying the clampdown would also be extended to Port Harcourt-Aba Road, from Eleme Junction down to Imo River Gate.

 

OBUAH warned that any property or wares found on the media of the affected roads and other parts of the state, after the expiration of the deadline, would be confiscated.
