Series of Protest in South West against FG’s decision to disband Amotekun

The peaceful protests by the youths follow Federal Government’s declaration that the operation is illegal.

The Federal Government had said the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has established the Army, Navy, and Airforce, including the Police and other numerous paramilitary organisations for the purpose of the defence of Nigeria.

But one of the leaders of the protest said the Amotekun was established to complement the effort of other security agencies.
