DAVID-WEST made the denial when he opened his defense in the ten count murder charge before a High Court sitting in Port Harcourt.
He claimed he was a technician that repairs phones and computers at the time of his arrest and had nothing to do with the killing of young women in low-priced hotels.

Speaking outside the court, Counsel to the defendant, VINCENT CHUKWU said the onus is on the prosecution to prove otherwise that DAVID-WEST is guilty for the alleged crimes.
On his path, the state counsel, CHIDI EKEH said the eight witnessed they presented have provided enough evidence to nail GRACIOUS DAVID-WEST.
