SERAP ask court to stop procurement of vehicles for Reps

SERAP said its applications to the court followed reports that the lawmakers are set to procure and take delivery of the SUVs.

The organization stated that reports claim that each of the SUVs would cost taxpayers at least one hundred and sixty million naira.

SERAP, in a statement by its Deputy Director, Kolawole Oluwadare said the organization sent an open letter to President Bola Tinubu urging him to put pressure on the leadership of the House of Representatives and stop its members from taking delivery of the three hundred and sixty SUVs, pending the court application for interim injunction.
