Senator ABE said this while speaking on the importance of internal democracy in the development of Nigeria’s democratic system.
The Senator while charging Nigerians especially the youths said all members of a political party are equal and must be given the same rights and equal opportunities.
Senator ABE also said the majority should be considered when decisions are being made, adding that a situation where a few people dictate what happens in a political party or in the country is a dangerous trend.
Our correspondent reports that an Associate Professor of Public in the Rivers state University, RICHARD NWOKOCHA in his address said the events that led to the removal of APC from contesting the 2019 general elections in Rivers state has become a lesson for political parties in Nigeria that the opinion of a member of a political party should be taken seriously.
