The Senate President, BUKOLA SARAKI, also challenged the Nigeria Customs Service to step up its clampdown on illegal importation of agricultural produce, particularly poultry and rice.
Senator SARAKI gave the charges during a meeting with representatives of the Poultry Farmers’ Association of Nigeria led by Alhaji USMAN DANTATA.
Senator SARAKI observed that the smuggling of agricultural produce into the country was on the increase and contributing to sabotage the economy.
